My Story
I'm Jacquie Militano, a Jersey-raised/story-crazed actor, director and producer with 20+ years of production, coaching, performing and writing experience in the entertainment and media industries.
After living onstage at Worth Tyrrell Studios, playing in the London theatre scene and graduating from George Mason University with a BA in Theater and "Best Actress" award, I eagerly jumped into the New York industry.
I appeared in and collaborated on various contemporary theatre projects with Matthew Corozine Studio Theatre and Primary Stages.
Previously, I held a decade long career performing with Disney Entertainment, at both Walt Disney World and World of Disney NYC. I performed in a number of productions including the "High School Musical Pep Rally", "Snow White's Do Si Do" and "Pirates in the Big Apple". I also had the honor of being close friends with some of Disney's most beloved characters (wink!). I then continued my Disney career as a DJ for Radio Disney NY, hosting the “Kids Concern Show” on-air and opening various Disney Channel concerts and live events in NYC.
I founded my own production company, Q.U. Productions Co., as a place to create and develop original web series and digital media projects. My first web series The Anonymous Lives of John & Jane, had two seasons available to stream on Prime! The series received press accolades from The Skinny NYC, NetTV Now, Rye the News Guy, Covert Bacon and Broadway World.
Beyond Q.U., I grew my producing career as the accomplished Video Producer at CafeMedia. Following, I headed up video production as the Senior Video Producer at The Knot Worldwide (formerly XO Group Inc.), leading all video strategy and creation for The Knot and The Bump.
As an arts advocate, I started my own acting and audition coaching company called Cue You Theatre Co. to make theatre education more accessible. Through Cue You (catching the trend here!) I also developed theatre curriculums for various schools and production companies.
Over the years, I have directed, produced and taught children's theatre at Wiremill Academy (CT), ACT of CT (CT), Acting for Young People (D.C.), Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (NY), Appleseeds (NY) Applause (NY), Little Maestros (NY), KJK Productions (NY), Paper Mill Playhouse (NJ), Edgemont Junior Senior High (NY) and Ridgefield High School (CT).
